Top 10 ABC Family Christmas Movies

Just like the Christmas Holiday tradition of gift-giving or Christmas parties, ABC Family is also practicing an annual 25 Days of Christmas event (previously known as Fox Family’s 25 Days of Christmas). This is a special programming shown from December 1 to December 25, which includes holiday films (animated/live-action) and some original movies. This year, it includes the premiere of the new ABC Family Original Movie, Holidaze. The movie stars Jennie Garth and Cameron Mathison.

ABC Family’s 25 Days Of Christmas 2013 schedule is already been released. 12 Dates of Christmas (2011)

12 Dates of Christmas is like a rom-com time travel Christmas movie. Amy Smart plays a quirky girl who re-lives the same first date on Christmas Eve over and over again until she wins back her ex-boyfriend. But this ends up with ruining her date with a guy she was set up with. Kate can re-live Christmas Eve twelve times, as she decided to embrace the gift and celebrate with her great friends, family and her true love.

Snowglobe (2007)

Perhaps we should call this as another Christina Milian Christmas movie. In Snowglobe, Milian plays as Angela and she loves Christmas more than anything. This is different with Christmas Cupid and this time, her family does not share the same love for the holiday. When she is about to breakdown because of her family, she receives a snowglobe in the mail. She shakes the snowglobe and she is transported into the world inside. She loves it so much and spends more time in the snowglobe than in real life with her family. Holiday In Handcuffs (2007)

In Holiday in Handcuffs, Melissa Joan Hart isn’t playing a witch, but a kidnapper. Yes, she kidnaps Mario Lopez’s character in an attempt to soothe her family. This is really funny movie that involves holding Lopez at gunpoint and depriving him of his freedom. Despite unlikely odds and dysfunctional family moments, the two fall in love and share a magical Christmas. Holiday in Handcuffs

Christmas Do-Over (2006)

Talking about second chances? Christmas Do-Over is a movie that gives Kevin (Jay Mohr) so many chances to re-live Christmas Day over and over again until he learns the error of his ways – as a father and as a husband. Yes, it’s like a Christmas version of Groundhog Day.

Christmas in Boston (2005)

Gina and Seth are two pen pals decide to meet after thirteen years but it comes out that they each sent their best friends’ pictures to the other. Instead of coming clean, they let their friends meet but in the end, love is in the air. Unfortunately, their best friends Ellen and Matt start to fall for each other. About half-way through, the real Seth figures out that the girl reporter he has been talking to is really Gina. In the end, Gina finds out the truth and they finally kiss. Christmas in Boston stars Marla Sokoloff, Patrick Adams and Lindy Booth.

Christmas In Wonderland (2007)

If you’re not going out of town or country this Christmas, most probably you and your family will go to the mall. Well, if that is the case, Christmas in Wonderland is the movie for you. And you might find Santa in the mall. The movie is about three kids and their Dad move from L.A to Edmonton. When they go shopping at West Edmonton Mall they find counterfeit cash. They inadvertently help catch the crooks, and later make a discovery about Santa.

Desperately Seeking Santa (2011)

Desperately Seeking Santa is about Jennifer, a young, determined promoter of Boston mall and has to increase profits for the mall or else it will shut down. She comes up with a genius promotional gimmick to save it by creating a contest to find a "Hunky Santa." David, on the other hand, is desperate to save his family’s pizzeria. Well, basically David is really hot and adorable so he wins the contest and sparks fly between him and Jennifer. However, complications ensue when it comes to light that the company Jennifer works for is the same one trying to run David's family out of business.

Christmas Caper (2007)

Do you miss Shannen Doherty’s Prue Halliwell in Charmed? You can find her here at Christmas Caper. Right here, she plays a Grinch-like burglar who resorts to her home town in Connecticut after a con decays and gets stuck baby-sitting her niece and nephew till their moms and dads can make it house for Christmas. Chasing Christmas (2005)
