This year 2012 alone, he landed to some notable movies like the highly acclaimed Moonrise Kingdom and the macho-cheese ensemble cast of The Expendables 2. His upcoming movie Looper is also encouraging with a time-travel sci-fi plot. He has few film sequels line up for 2013; G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Red 2 and the fifth installment of Die Hard entitled A Good Day to Die Hard. He’s currently 57 years-old with model-actresses ex-wife and current wife under his sleeves.

American Assassin is adapted from the Vince Flynn novel of the same name, centering on Mitch Rapp, a young man who joins the CIA after his girlfriend died in a terrorist attack. Bruce Willis will play a CIA agent who mentors Rapp. The book is the 11th in Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp series, although this story goes back to the beginning, showing how he first became involved with the covert agency.
Jeffrey Nachmanoff is well known for writing screenplay for The Day After Tomorrow and upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The Last Stand. He directed some previous films like Hollywood Palms, Traitor and the TV Series Homeland. The American Assassin would be his break to show off his directing skills for an action-packed thriller film.
